All is fine, Pushing pencils all day long to Wave the signs, You know they'll sing your state-appointed Lullabies, Your desk is wearing thin beneath the army lines. blood-shot eyes, staring at the ignorance its no surprise, You're all so damn predictable for all the lies, the truth is never far from where the bullet flies. And all bets are off, And all bets are off, And all bets are off, again. Puppeteer, blame the doll that hung itself and they believe, everything you tell them in those filtered ears, And change is just a ripple in a sea of years. Shake your hand, The fear gives you the feeling that you're in command, Give the boys to die so you can Take the land, 'cause human flesh weighs less than all that golden sand. And all bets are off, And all bets are off, And all bets are off, again. Show them, young patriot, Show them no mercy, Follow, young diplomat, Follow your leader, Don't look young citizen, Don't look around you, Go on you idiot, Fight for my country.

Spirit Rot 03:46
You cut my tongue, To such a pretty thing, Your words are stones, They shatter my bony, little wings. I'm scattered here, All motion without a thought, You've shattered me, You've shattered me. But I will crane, I will crane, Like a lantern for you, In the rain, in the rain, Or maybe the shine for you. I'll feel your pain, feel it, Or just make it fade for you. Even as my spirit rots. Among the noise, I can't, I can't see anything. Between the view, I can't, I can't hear anything. When I'm with you, I can't, I can't be anything. 'Cause I sense your stones, The heavy little killing things. But I will crane, I will crane Like a lantern for you, In the rain, in the rain, Or maybe shine for you, I'll feel your pain, feel it, Or just make it fade for you, Even as my spirit rots. Oh, were so close to the sea, Oh, were so close. Oh, were so close to the sea, Were so close.

All Alright 04:25
How did this, Senseless truth, Deceive our fears, Suited man, Speaking low, Into my ear, It's all alright, It's all alright, You don't have to question anymore. Clockwork gears, Turning as the Weights pull down, Sentiment, Does not pay rent, They whisper on, It's all alright, It's all alright, You don't have to question anymore. It'll be enough, time will not run out, I can see that this is how it's going to be for now, I am not afraid, I am satisfied, I will be the dirt on someone's shoe until I die, I won't be unkind, happy all the time, Dark and bitter doesn't have to be the frame of mind, Water fills the lungs, swimming, drowning on, The silent truth is that there's no where to belong. But it's all alright, It's all alright, You don't have to question anymore.

I belong to you, But you can feel your gentle heart break with each new day, You will journey on, Pass the gates of hell to find your Happiness in vain. If I could ask you to stay, I'll give you something to think about, I'll give you someone to hold on to love, But it's a passing thought, passing thought, Just something I forgot, I forgot. I'll give you something to think about, I'll give you somewhere to belong to love, But it's a passing thought, passing thought, Live out the given lot, given lot. Slay me, Taunt me, Sway me, Flaunt me, Crave me, Haunt me, Lets pretend to make believe. I belong to you, but I cannot relate to all the panic in your eyes, Lay here for a while, Cramming in your dreams beneath a bed of borrowed time. I only wanted to say, You gave me something to think about, You gave me someone to hold on to love, But it's a passing thought, passing thought, Just something I forgot, I forgot, You gave me something to think about, You gave me somewhere to belong to love, But it's a passing thought passing thought, Live out the given lot, given lot. Slay me, Taunt me, Sway me, Flaunt me, Crave me, Haunt me, Lets pretend to make believe. (x2) Ive always known you'd never understand, Pretend that I'm not who you think I am, I'm a monster baby, Im monster baby, I'm a killer baby, I'm a devil baby, You gave me something to think about, You gave me someone to hold on to love, But it's a passing thought, passing thought, Just something I forgot, I forgot, You gave me something to think about, You gave me somewhere to belong to love, But it's a passing thought passing thought, Live out the given lot, given lot.

Blue 03:46
Cold, shivering hands, They don't seem to get any warmer, By watching some distant flame burn. Trapped under ice, The lake's frozen over, I claw for the Air through this looking-glass urn. flashes of light, They fetter and flee like some wild rabid Dog chasing shadows of love. I'll fade away too, To your silent cries through the ice sheets, And blue will forever stay blue. What is the price? The value of echoing coos and a Crippling, second-hand love? A roll of the dice, A sure bet to win something nearer and warmer than slippery ice. And you would be free, A migrating dove with a compass that Finally set its course true. And I will remain, Like ash in the water, a phantom, Where blue will forever stay blue.

about

I made this record over the course of a few months in my little Koreatown apartment in Los Angeles. These five songs are the start of a life-long project and they are deeply personal to the past two years of my life. For fear of it disappearing into the nooks and crannies of my hard drive like so much of my music has, I'm finally letting this ship sail.

It's every musician's hope that people might benefit emotionally, but it's my hope that this music can benefit people who are disadvantaged in a more tangible way too, so I will be donating 50% of all sales to charity.

Love,
Biographer
